The FDDI Hyderabad Campus successfully organized ‘Asthara’ – Exhibition, Jury & Display, showcasing the creative journey of the Foundation Batch 2025. The exhibition highlighted the artistic craftsmanship and innovative thinking of students, who presented their self-designed and developed utility products created during the first semester of the Foundation Programme.
The creative outcomes of the Foundation Batch students’ first-semester projects, developed under the guidance and mentorship of the subject faculties, were assessed by eminent external jury members.
The exhibits reflected learning outcomes from key subjects including Design Project–I, Tinkering Studio, Design Evolution in Nature & the Man-made World, Observational Drawing, Communication Skills, 2D CAD, and 3D CAD. Students also experimented extensively with creativity and innovation, developing stunning products based on diverse themes that demonstrated originality, functionality, and aesthetic sensitivity.
The thematic explorations and hands-on approach clearly reflected that students are acquiring the essential design, technical, and problem-solving skills required to meet the expectations of the global market and prepare themselves for advanced learning in the forthcoming academic sessions.
The event served as an effective platform for academic evaluation, peer learning, and creative exchange, reaffirming FDDI’s commitment to nurturing future-ready design professionals from the foundation stage.
