Dr. Sushila, Junior Faculty, School of Fashion Design (FD), FDDI Noida Campus, participated in the 12th International Conference on “Agriculture & Veterinary: Transformative Approach, Research & Innovations Forum (ICAVRI-2025)”, held from 16th to 18th November 2025. The conference was jointly organized by Goa College of Agriculture, UAS Dharwad, VNMKV Parbhani, Directorate of Agriculture, Goa, and ISASTR Society, New Delhi.
During the conference, Dr. Sushila presented her research paper titled “Exploration of Agro-waste Starches and Gums as Eco-friendly Thickening/Binding Agents for Textile Printing.” The paper examined the use of agro-waste-based starches and natural gums as sustainable alternatives to synthetic chemicals in textile printing. It highlighted their key properties, advantages, and suitability, emphasizing their potential to reduce environmental impact while ensuring effective printing performance. The study also discussed associated challenges and future opportunities for adopting these eco-friendly materials within the textile industry.
In recognition of the quality and impact of her research, Dr. Sushila’s presentation received the Best Oral Presentation Award (First Position) at the conference.
